Chantore Garden

The Park of the Château de Chantore, labeled Remarkable Garden and listed as a Historic Monument, is a Landscape Park located on a promontory overlooking the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel that the visitor can admire thanks to a breakthrough in the foliage. trees.

The typical 19th century park is characterized by a gentle undulation, framed views of the wide landscape, winding paths revealing little by little different animated scenes (imperial bridge, the haunted tower, the cave, etc.), remarkable plant elements (hundred-year-old camellias, rhododendrons, redwoods, cedar of Lebanon, tulip trees from Virginia, bald cypress from Louisiana…) and by the auditory and visual presence of water with the English river forming waterfalls and ponds.
